We are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join our expanding team of professionals.


Responsibilities:

  • Read, review and understand project specifications to ascertain the full scope of works for a project.

  • Review consultants design drawings alongside the technical plant schedules to ensure the initial design meets with the full scope of works, identifying any potential discrepancies between the two.

  • Review consultants design drawings/schedules to check adequate information is included to enable all plant to be procured correctly and identify any potential VE options.

  • Review consultants design schematics to carry out checks such as pipework sizes, flow rates etc.

  • Compile detailed RFI’s with any clarifications that may be needed after reviewing design information.

  • Put together plant enquiry packages including relevant parts of the specification and technical schedules to send out to suppliers to obtain quotations.

  • Carry out technical & cost analysis of supplier quotations to select the correct equipment.

  • Produce detailed technical submittals of selected plant to issue for approval prior to ordering equipment.

  • Solidify & build relationships with Clients, Construction Managers, Subcontractors and Suppliers.

  • Manage project deliveries.

  • Manage project financial cost sheets, budgeting and cost control

  • Managing Project Programmes

  • Coordinate manpower as required with other projects in the company.

  • Actively participates in meetings, initiatives, and projects that support the company goals.

  • Meet technical, contractual, schedule, budgetary and client service objectives for each project.

  • May periodically act as Quality Control (QC) reviewer on projects.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication

  • Ability to successfully work independently.

  • Competent with Office 365

  • Must have strong customer service skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Candidates should also have experience of working with the following systems and have an understanding of how they work:

  • MCWS

  • BCWS

  • HWS

  • LTHW

  • CHW

  • Condenser Water

  • Waste Water

  • Gas

  • Dry Risers

  • General Supply/Extract Ventilation

  • Toilet Extract

  • Leak Detection

  • Trace Heating

  • BMS

  • Refrigerant AC
